Assisting those affected by a disaster in horse ownership
Have you, as a stable and horse owner, been affected by a disaster or facing significant difficulties in your daily life? We might be able to help.
Terrible things happen all the time in our world, unfortunately. Stable and horse owners are not exempt from accidents and disasters that can cause suffering to horses and people in various ways.
That’s why we started #BeddingAid, aimed at providing assistance in accidents and disasters that have caused severe damage to stable buildings, horses, and consumables needed to keep up the horses’ welfare.
Our goal is to contribute and support by providing our flax bedding to those affected, so they can focus on rebuilding their lives and getting back to their daily routines as quickly as possible without worrying about sourcing stable bedding, for example.
We also support individuals with special needs for various reasons, where a pallet of flax bedding might enable them to allocate funds for other essential things.
How does it work?
In the case of disaster events that become widely known through social media or newspaper articles, and where we see that we can provide assistance, the affected person will be contacted by us, offering our support.
For those falling into the second category, experiencing significant hardships in their daily lives, we recommend submitting an application to us.
What is required to receive support?
You need to have been affected by some form of disaster-like event, such as a barn fire or a natural disaster.
You may also have experienced an event that has made it difficult for you to financially care for your horses temporarily.
Even riding schools that have students requiring special support in their horse interest can apply.
